2nd Wessex Division 2/6th (Duke of Connaughts' Own) Battalion T.F.

When the "second line" Wessex formations went to India the 2/6th sent 150 men to the 2/5th. This put the 2/6th well under establishment for service in India and was kept at home to produce drafts for the Territorials overseas. Later sent men to the 1/4th and was absorbed into the 4th Reserve Battalion.
